The Danescombe Academy has been revived and will make its next appearance Saturday, September 29th, 2018 and held at the Penticton United Church at 696 Main Street ... a familiar location to most of you as our venue of choice.
We have lots of space and classrooms and are interested in having several tracks covering many and all disciplines. If you are interested in teaching or know of someone who might be so inclined please get in touch with me. Either post below or PM me directly.
The Academy is an excellent opportunity for someone who has considered teaching but hasn't yet stepped up. The Academy offers a relaxed environment for you to stretch your wings and fly.
Our plans included offering at least 2 or 3 tracks of classes in the Scribal Arts from Painting of Charters through to Designing Charters drawing from Period Manuscripts. Any and all of these classes would be suitable for members of the Okanagan Scribal (Scriptorium).
Site Fees are $30 with a $5 discount to Members. The site fee includes a FREE Lunch.
Look for the class list and class schedule about Mid-August, as pre-registration for class is strongly recommended.
